Kenneth “Cob” F. Alcock, 82 of Lambertville, MI, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014, in his home.  Born Oct. 9, 1931 in Lambertville, MI, he was the son of Joshua “Fred” and Esther C. (Slick) Alcock.  A 1950 graduate of  Bedford Agricultural School,  he served his country in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War. He married Charlene Rodgers on Nov. 6, 1954 and she preceded him in death on Nov. 25, 2002. Cob was employed by Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania for over 41 years, retiring in 1996.  He enjoyed antique tractors, draft horse auctions, and his grandchildren.

Cob is survived by his loving children; Debra McKeone of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Frederick (Brenda) Alcock of Lambertville, MI, Patricia Alcock of Lambertville, MI, Kenneth C. (Susan) Alcock of Lambertville, MI and James (Jeanette) Alcock, Sr. of Temperance, MI.  Brothers; Frank (Mona) Alcock of Temperance, MI, Clark Alcock of Lambertville, MI and Ronald (Joanne) Alcock of Lambertville, MI.  Sister, Ethel Lewis of Toledo, OH. Son-in-law, William Nuhfer of Toledo, OH. 28 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Lynda Alcock-Nuhfer, great granddaughter, Brittany Stone, 2 brothers, Harold and David Alcock and 3 sisters, Martha Maier, E. Leone Brown and Ina Burdine.

Visitation will be from 2-7 pm, Monday, August 4, 2014, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.  Memorials may be made to Promedica Hospice, Relay for Life of Bedford or Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
